We are organisation a British Canoeing Coach update for Sunday March 17th - aimed at getting on top of the new awards etc
 
Whilst this is primarily aimed at British Canoeing Coaches and Aspirant Coaches volunteering in Scouting, others from Scouting who have a keen interest in leading paddlesports will be welcomed.

Program:
09:00 - arrival. Coffee/tea
09:30 - welcome + housekeeping
09:40 - Russell Smith - British canoeing keynote
10:40 - coffee break + write questions from BC update on flip chart paper (I am very aware of the high level of change at present and want to capture / deal with where possible )
11:00 - Facilitated discussion groups to answer the questions raised on the flip chart / in person.
11:30 - Coaching communications
12:30 - lunch (hour allocated, includes time to change into paddling kit, to set up for afternoon and to catch up any overrun.) put ticks next to any items if flip charts that have been covered. Bring your own lunch.
13:30 - Group session 1
14:45 - Group session 2
16:00 - change and coffee
16:30 - final wind up. Review the flip chart questions and check what’s outstanding still.
17:00 - networking and departure
17:15 -  brief optional discussion around whether there are ways the British canoeing Centre scheme could work better in Scouting.
