NEWS FOR CAT LOVERS
===================================

Congratulations to Deborah for being the only one to get
the right answer in the last issue. The name of the cat on
the old TV show, The Brady Bunch, was Fluffy. For her
correct answer, Deborah received a Holiday Pet Recipes book.

I felt sorry for those with wrong answers, so I gave them
something too. I won't name the people with wrong answers,
as I don't want to embarrass anyone. But I sent them a
free report from Purina on how to have a "birthday pawty"
for a newly adopted pet. If you want it, too, let me know
and I'll be glad to send it!

catsgalore4 @ hotmail.com is the address to use for this.
Thanks to everyone who submitted names!

---------------------

I will be releasing the new version of my book, How to
Make Your Cat Adore You, on Nov. 17. It has more than
doubled in size and I have added 2 new sections: How to
Massage a Cat, and a collection of actual case studies about
the most common problems cat owners face.

But I need your help now. I can't decide which cover to
put on it! This is the fourth "printing" (but third edition),
so there have already been 3 covers used. They are
not being discarded, and if enough people like one, it will be
used again. Or, there is a fourth cover, brand new, which
I just ordered from a professional graphic designer. You'll
be able to tell... LOL. It's really nicely done.

So, you have 10 days to go to this page and tell me what
you think and which one you like best:

http://www.theproblemcat.com/makecatsadoreyou/newcover.html

If you already own a copy of my book, just let me know
and I'll send you the new one! You are eligible for all future
updates. Just tell me which version you own and a few words
about how it has helped you. [catsgalore4 @ hotmail.com]

The next step will be to get it into actual print at Amazon.com,
and once there, I will have no authority to give any away. But
this will make a nice holiday gift, so keep a watch out for an
announcement when it's ready.

Thanks for your help! If you leave your email in the comment
box, I'll send you a special gift for your trouble.

To tell your friends about the book... send them here:

Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, visited Battersea Dogs and
Cats Home in south London to open its new cattery. She was
welcomed by a dog guard of honor made up of animals wearing
blue jackets emblazoned with the words: "I need a home."
But it was her "personal" encounter with an 8-week-old kitten
that made headlines. And she was wearing a FUR-TRIMMED jacket!

Animal advocates demonstrated in front of the Vancouver
Art Gallery to protest the cruelty suffered by the animals in
research programs at the University of British Columbia.
Nearly naked, the demonstrators painted themselves as various
animals, such as cats, mice and monkeys. The animals seldom
survive the experiments there. PETA participated, too.
