Message from the Pro Grand Master
Dear Brethren and Companions,

These are difficult and testing times for us all.  First, I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your patience and understanding during this challenging and worrying period.

Coronavirus is going to be with us for some considerable time, and I am certain you are as disappointed as I am that we have, reluctantly, suspended all Masonic activity.  I trust that you will agree that it was the right course of action at the right time. Read the full message here.

Government Guidance
This guidance is for everyone, including children. It advises on social distancing measures we should all be taking to reduce social interaction between people in order to reduce the transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19). It is intended for use in situations where people are living in their own homes, with or without additional support from friends, family and carers.

#TimetoToast
James Ross, Head of West Wales Freemasons Raises a Glass to NHS Staff and Absent Brethren at 9pm
Freemasons are calling for the whole community to ensure no one feels alone, even if they are physically self-isolating, to be remembered in a toast at 9pm every night.

James Ross said:"The 9 O'Clock Toast is a great way to keep in touch. I look forward to seeing you all online. Be aware, I am starting to hear reports of West Wales Members with Covid-19 symptoms. I urge you all to follow the guidance and stay safe."

Support for West Wales Freemasons
The Coronavirus is providing everyone with major challenges, not least Freemasons and the Province of West Wales. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master / Most Excellent Grand Superintendent and the Executive are fully aware of the needs of the Brethren and widows with 46% of our membership being over 70 years of age, a further 23% between 60 and 70 years of age, and the remaining 31% being under 60 years of age, so please don’t think you are on your own, you are not, you’re part of a worldwide fraternity.

From the Provincial Grand Almoner
I hope this finds you and all your loved ones well at this difficult time. As Provincial Grand Almoner it is part of my duty together with your Lodge Almoners to ensure your wellbeing.

I am concerned that I am hearing reports that some of you who are classed as vulnerable, over 70’s, or suffering from health issues such as heart disease, diabetes, asthma etc, are continuing to offer practical help and carrying on as normal, ignoring the Government advice on social distancing.
