TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day down 2.29% at 1,205,467. Agriculture (+4.68%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Oil Products (-4.11%). Automotive (-0.71%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 16,154 billion (approx. USD 66 million). Persian Gulf Petrochemical Co. (PKLJ -4.49%) Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD -4.43%) and National Iranian Copper Ind. Co. (MSMI -4.45%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES -4.57%) was the most traded stock with IRR 4,272 billion (approx. USD 17 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 114,559 billion (approx. USD 469 million), up 15% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 59,037 for a down of 3.66%. The biggest riser was Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (HKSJ +3.49%) while Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co. (PNBA -4.84%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 30,523 billion (approx. USD 124 million), up 2% from the previous trading session. |
