Dear classic car enthusiast,
You are looking at our first regular Newsletter of new design, I hope you like it. A new 'high end' website is also under development which will do justice to our fine cars for sale and the dedicated photography in which a lot of effort is being invested. Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas with me about what you think is most important for you to see or to find on a new built ClassicarGarage website.
Yours truly has tested and photographed 24 newly arrived classic cars for sale over the last four weeks of which 19 are presented in todays newsletter. Above you already spotted the 'French Goddess', a 1973 Citroen DS 23 Pallas in excellent condition and for sale at Smiths-Veglia. In the 'rare car department' I present TWO 1954 Jaguar XK 120 roadster 'Special Equipment' (SE) models. This opens the remarkable opportunity to choose the one or the other in the Lex Classics showroom! You will also find two super original, never restored automobiles: a 1963 Triumph TR4, fitted with Surrey top and American Racing wheels, and a 1935 Alvis Silver Eagle SG 16 saloon which has not been touched by any restoration or paint job for about 80 years!
Shortly about 10 new arrived classic cars will be photographed, expect CCG Newsletter 95 around July 18.

Jaguar XK 120 SE Open Two Seater (OTS/roadster), year 1954. Colour British Racing Green with a beige leather interior. This fabulous Jaguar XK 120 SE roadster was sold new in the USA. This is a rare factory original Special Equipment (SE) model fitted with the more powerful engine. The automobile was imported to the Netherlands in the year 2003. The car was extensively restored, a photo reportage and documents of the restoration are present. In 2013 the XK 120 was registered and driven fro the first time. Jaguar E-type V12 convertible, year 1973. Colour Old English white with a red leather interior, red carpet and a black soft top. This very impressive Jaguar e-type V12 was imported from the USA to Belgium in the year 1990, in 1994 the car was registered in the Netherlands. Between the years 1994 and 2000 the automobile was restored by a Dutch Jaguar specialist (Kolvenbach). Body work, paint work, new interior upholstery, new wiring loom. Also the mechanics have been overhauled and the engine was modified to run on lead free petrol. This E-type is in excellent condition! More information

This Alvis Silver Eagle saloon with Holbrook body work was found in the UK and imported by Altena Classic Service for a client in April 2012. The automobile was checked, fully serviced and after that registered (June 2012) for use on the open road again.
