Next Wednesday, 17 April, is the finale of the bi-monthly print competition season with the judging of Round 4. This will be done by Peter Young LRPS CPAGB AFIAP APAGB. Peter is a well known judge and speaker and is Treasurer of the PAGB and chairman of the Welsh International Salon.

The next meeting of the Print Group will be on Monday, 15 April at 7.30pm. If you are keen to get photographic distinctions with your prints and need a bit of help, then this is the place to come for advice. Pete McCloskey and Andrew Marker will be on hand to give you that advice and guidance to help you on your way along the road to your chosen distinction.

We have several Mac adaptors on the lectern, mainly for the use of visiting speakers who use these weird machines (you can tell that I'm a PC man). However the Mac to VGA adaptor has gone walkabout - if anyone has found it in their kit, it has a BPS label on it, can you please let me know, or better still please put it back. |

Salon acceptances: BPS photographers are now achieving large numbers of salon acceptances and constraints on time and space mean we can't include them all. So please only advise of awards or other milestones.
Contrary to popular belief, I do not possess psychic powers and need you to tell me if you've had successes. If you want to blow your own trumpet (or someone else's), then this is the place to do it. Please let me know and I'll include details in a future issue.

Would all members please note: before you plan your shoot and book your model, you should check whether the studio/clubroom will be free. This can be done easily and at any time by viewing the Clubroom Bookings calendar in the Members' Area of the BPS Website. Bookings can (and must) be made by contacting Mike Bigger at bookings@bristolphoto.org.uk.
