Hi everyone - Easter seems like the
perfect time to hatch 'Chicken Skin 2' Ry Cooder Fingerstyle!
As a follow up to Chicken Skin Slide it was natural to explore the
world of Ry Cooder's fingerstyle. He is undoubtedly known as one of the
worlds finest slide guitarists but is also acknowledged as a master
fingerstyle player. I have been inspired by, and learned a great deal
about this style just by listening to Ry Cooder. In Chicken Skin 2 I'll be
sharing with you some of the many ways you can incorporate that special
Cooder fingerstyle into your own playing.
As a huge Ry Cooder fan I've really enjoyed listening again to the roots
of Ry Cooder's fingerstyle and have worked some of my exercises around the
influences of players like Joseph Spence, Blind Blake and The Rev. Garry
Davis.
