"Eye Candy" from May
The bags you see below are among those that customers have shared either on our FaceBook business page, our Instagram feed or on our brand new Group page on FaceBook. So thanks to ALL who posted their pictures last month! They were ALL great and here's a few of my favorites!
(For LARGER images: Click on each individual pic)
Diane Rhodes is one of our testers and said that out of all the bags she has made, the HipBag Hybrid is STILL her favorite pattern!

Judy Mace created this embroidered Quattro for her daughter. Judy said this design is from the "Christmas Traditions" book by Tracey Sims & Urban Zundt

Gayle Dumas said this Go-Go Compact was her 1st of MANY of our patterns to come for her.

Don Dister bought this pattern from us at AQS Paducah & created this Guardian for his wife!
The exterior fabric that Nancy Greaver chose for her Everyday Attache was truly amazing. I bet she's having a blast carrying this beauty!

Mary-lou Wightman likes making Quattro bags for all of her friends and I bet whomever was on the receiving end for this beauty was thrilled!
Lugene Fernold added credit card slots to the "Secret Niche" area (above) of her Hipbag Hybrid! That was a smart add, Lugene!

I think its safe to say that Shireen Hattan LOVES polka dots! And this adorable Go-Go Compact could make a polkadot lover out of just about ANYONE!!
Here's a very classic and pretty Walkabout Wallet that was created by Karen Starck.

And last but not least, here's a very classy Baggalista that  Georgia Segura said has been a LONG time in the making! She'll be gifting it to her youngest daughter and these are her favorite colors!

The "Tech" Desk- Hashtags: What are they & how to follow them?
I know there's a lot of people who are confused about hashtags and maybe you're one of them?

So here's a quick & dirty lesson!
A hashtag is a label for content or pictures. It helps others who are interested in a certain topic, to quickly find similar content or pictures on that same topic.

A hashtag looks something like this:  #studiokatdesigns or #gogocompact

Hashtags are used mostly on social media sites. They rocketed to fame on Twitter. But now you can use hashtags on other social platforms, such as Instagram. Anyone sharing on Instagram can add a hashtag label to their picture so others can search for that topic & find other relevent pictures on Instagram.

For example, last month at my nephew's wedding we were given a hashtag to use for photos we shared on Instagram & then ALL of us could see the various photos being posted. It was FUN! And the best way to avoid missing other pictures using that same hashtag is to "follow it".

So how does one follow a Hashtag? It's simple! Using the example above, simply click on the magnifying glass on the bottom row and type the hashtag you want to follow into the search bar at the very top of your screen, (I typed in #studiokatdesigns). When the hashtag is found it will pop up and you'll see a blue "follow" button! Just click on it and you're all set. You'll see everything I post under that hashtag, AND I'll see everything YOU post using that hashtag!

Cats in the News- The Cats of DisneyWorld
Animatronic animals aren’t the only “furry” friends who get to enjoy Disneyland and Disney World. In fact, Disney parks are home to a variety of different species. Including, an abundance of feral cats that have free range of Main Street, Tomorrowland, and all other areas of the parks.
Want to know why Disney keeps these feral felines around? We share the real reason for the cats of Disneyland, plus the terrifying creatures that call Walt Disney World home and other types of wild animals that can be found at the happiest place on Earth, next. {Click HERE to read more}
