Review of polling districts and polling places |
Bristol’s ward boundaries will change in 2016 following a national review by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England. Changes to the geographical areas contained within wards mean that the local polling districts within each also need to change. Our aim in drawing up polling districts is to ensure that all electors have such reasonable facilities for voting as are practicable in the circumstances. We would like your views on whether you agree with the proposals or if not, how they can be improved. Visit www.bristol.gov.uk/polling to take part.

Remember to return your annual canvass form |
In May 2016 there will be city-wide local, mayoral and police & crime commissioner elections. Make sure you’re registered to take part. As part of the annual voter registration canvass, a household enquiry form has been sent to all homes across Bristol, to make sure we have the right details on the electoral register. Please check your form is correct and let the Council know of any changes needed. The form will explain how you can do this. Your early response helps the council keep reminders, and costs, to a minimum. |
