We are pleased to welcome back Joan Gelfand, author of three acclaimed volumes of poetry, an award-winning chapbook of short fiction and a forthcoming novel set in a Silicon Valley startup. Joan is the recipient of numerous writing awards, commendations, nominations and honors. Her reviews, stories and poetry have appeared in several national and international literary journals and magazines. She has helped writers around the country realize their dreams of becoming successfully published.

Joan will discuss her new book, You Can Be A Winning Writer, in which she outlines her 4 C's method (Craft, Commitment, Community, and Confidence). She has taught this method to college professors, CEO's, doctors, ghostwriters, poets, and playwrights. Her book includes:

• Post-publication strategies
• The mistakes that even the most talented prize-winning authors have made
• How, with the help of the 4 C's, those same authors could have enjoyed greater success
• What it means to 'fire on all burners" and work to develop each of the 4 C's simultaneously
