I just got back from Kerrville, Texas after competing in the Grassy Hill, Kerrville Folk Festival songwriting contest. It looks like Lyle Lovett, Shawn Colvin and I share the same privilege as two time finalists who did not win. I did get to hang with some of my favorite songwriters in the country including a fun song swap with Sonia of Disappear Fear, after her main stage performance on Saturday night. This month you will find me back at my favorite Seattle venue, Egan's Ballard Jam House, a return to one of my favorite house concerts in Ollala, WA, Bainbridge Island and my first time at the Benson Winery in Chelan, WA. June 8th 9-10:30PM Egan's Ballard Jam House with Canadian songwriter Nathan Aswell. Nathan is an amazing singer songwriter and plays an NS Stick (an 8-stringed electronic instrument that can be plucked like a bass, strummed like a guitar, or tapped with both hands like a piano). It's pretty amazing to hear. We'll be playing in the round and accompanying each other on some songs. 
 
June 9th 7:30PM Olalla House Concert Series in Olalla, WA. $15 donation. Solo show in this lovely intimate setting with great food. 
 
June 14th 7-10PM Wild Vine Bistro in Bothell, WA 
 
June 15th 7-9PM Under The Red Umbrella in Everett, WA.
 
June 16th 7-9:30PM Island Music Hall on Bainbridge Island with Tracy Spring. In the round and accompanying each other on many tunes.
 
June 21st (Thursday) 4-7PM Benson Winery in Manson, Washington. 
 
June 29th 7:30PM The Rendezvous Wine and Brew in Enumclaw, WA 
 
June 30th 7PM The Repp in Snohomish
