Hope you've had a lovely June. It's been OK for me thanks. Oh yeah, I'm the Taskmaster Champion of Champions. It's no biggie.

I am writing to you with big RHLSTP news - badgers have heard about this already, but now I have full details.

We've signed a new deal with Acast, part of which involves moving RHLSTP over into their Acast Plus system.

Obviously podcasts continue to be free, but if you want some bonus extras you can get them with a small bonus payment (NB these prices do not include local taxes, so you have to also pay VAT or whatever you have in your strange and distant land)

Here are the options explained

PLUSSERS

£2 a month - Ad free podcasts, plus secret badger emails (giving details of upcoming guests before names are released to non-plusser scum). You'll be getting at least 8 podcasts a month without ads, so if you think that's worth 25p a show then sign up at this level

PLUSSERS PLUS

£3 a month - Ad free podcasts, secret badger emails PLUS early release (listen to RHLSTP a day before everyone else) PLUS backstage interviews with most guests as short audio podcasts. We will release one a week and when we don't have a new one for that week's guest we will put up one of the old ones.

PLUSSERS PLUS PLUS

£5 a month - All the stuff from Tier 2 PLUS extra bonus content including at least one extra exclusive podcast a month (which might be me responding to emails or chatting with someone or monologuing - to begin with Ally my ventriloquist dummy is going to ask me Emergency Questions)

This will be the only way to get the bonus interviews. If you stay as a regular badger without also joining Acast Plus, you will no longer be able to access the bonus RHLSTP stuff.

PLUS you will be sent a link so you can access the video version of this week's episode (if we've filmed one). If we haven't filmed one then we will put up previous videos, starting with the latest series. The videos are no longer going up on Youtube, so if you want to see the new vids then this will be the principle outlet. (We are no longer planning to do live streaming - though this might be something we make availanle to Plussers Plus Plus at some point - but if shows sell out in the theatre we may do additional tickets to watch on line, but we will see)

WE ARE STILL RUNNING OUR OWN BADGER CLUB, BUT IT'S NOW FOR ALL THE OTHER PODCASTS I DO.

Richard Herring's Non-Commercial Projects Fan Club (RHNCPFC)

At the moment we're not taking new members for this (but just whilst we get the Plusser system going) but if you don't care about RHLSTP and just want to help us make new other content, then this is for you.

You will get a members area where you can access my live shows from the past and any other additional non-RHLSTP content and you will get a new RHNCPFC members card and badges and some other welcome gifts (these will also be sent to existing badgers who stay with us).

The monthly badger draw will continue where one of you gets a box of merch and DVDs and old scripts etc (badgers only) and you'll also continue to get a secret monthly email.

If you're already a badger you don't have to do anything (Chris will be in touch to ask if you have moved since you joined when we send out the new badges - won't be for a few months)

If you don't want to be a badger any more then you can terminate your membership (you always had this power)

You are allowed to be both a badger or a plusser if you want - it's up to you. But please don't feel you have to do both.

OTHER WAYS TO SUPPORT US

I know times are tough and so you can support us in lots of ways that don't involve spending money. Listening to the podcasts with the adverts in them is a huge help, as is telling your friends about the podcast.

If you want to buy the occasional ticket to the show or one of my books or DVDs or downloads that would also be amazing.
