What a wonderful week!
This 4 day week was certainly a BUSY one! We started MAP testing and are settling into our schedules. Things are off to a great start!
FROM THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT: At all future football games elementary and middle school students attending the games are expected to be accompanied by an adult and watching the game unless headed to the restrooms or concessions. Students should not be playing tag or football on the fields surrounding the game field. Thank you for your cooperation in making the football games enjoyable for all of the PACKER fans.
FROM OUR NUTRITION SERVICES DEPARTMENT: The Fremont Public Schools Nutrition Services Department is currently experiencing multiple issues in getting the food products listed on the district menus for our schools as well as many non-food items. From chicken products to ketchup packets things have been very difficult to order and receive. The district would like you to be aware of the situation as we do our best to get the right products delivered, or in some cases, a substitute product purchased. These are challenging times for the food industry across the country as well as right here in West Michigan. The Nutrition Services Department is committed to doing the best we can to provide healthy and nutritious meals for every student. That being said, the need to make last minute menu changes without notice or reduce the number of choices that we offer daily is a likely possibility. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated, and our hope is to have things back to normal as soon as possible. Should you have questions or concerns, please contact John Rosenberg at 924-8160. Looking forward to a great year!
FROM OUR TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT: A reminder to families that all students are required to wear masks on the buses. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
