OK, here are a few quick flash's....
Tonight at The Dutch Cottage, for one night only, The Mighty Manatees will be joined by Jason Crosby on keyboards and fiddle and Walter Tate Jr. on saxophones. These are the same two stellar musicians who played on our recently released "Live" CD. Don't miss it!
But the BIG push in the next two weeks is for:
"THE PICKLE-FEST BAND, BEEF & BEER BENEFIT BASH!!!
Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Green Lane Fire Hall, 214 Main Street, Green Lane, PA.
Paul Pickles is an old friend of the band that has fallen on some hard luck medically. A bunch of his friends have banded together to help raise some money for his health costs.
There will be raffles, fun photo opportunities, door prizes, and some amazing silent auction items!
$25 (advance) ticket includes catered dinner (hot roast beef, Italian sausage, pasta, fixings, dessert), Yuengling & Coors Light on tap with a Cash Bar option available. Doors open at 7:00pm.
The Mighty Manatees go on at 8:00 and play until midnight. It will be the electric quartet (w/ Karl Frick on keyboards) plus special guest musicians.

And speaking of Karl Frick...
Karl's record label, Bar-Tone Records, has just released a new studio CD by local blues faves "Friar's Point". The CD is called "To The Point" , and was recorded and produced by Karl at his Lakestone Studios in Barto, PA. The ten songs feature a funky mix of bluesy rock with our own Karl on organ and piano. Standout tracks include the opening instrumental , "Night Out".

There are still a few seats left for our Sunday afternoon bus trip to New York City. The Jason Crosby Band and The Mighty Manatees are playing The Rockwood Dance Hall from 12-6. Talk to a band member.
