Luke 2:13-14 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"
ONE ANGEL NOT ENOUGH
A single Child born in a little village and laid in a manger to sleep. Ask yourself: Should the birth of this one little Child be announced by a brilliant and powerful angel?
No.
God decreed He must have a multitude of angels to announce His arrival! For this was no ordinary baby boy, this was God the Son, come at last to fulfill prophecy, and to save sinners.
He spake and straightway the celestial choir
In hymns of joy, unknown before, conspire;
The praises of redeeming love they sang,
And heav'n's whole orb with alleluias rang.
God's highest glory was their anthem still,
Peace upon earth and unto men good will.
