Landfill:
The landfill will be open this Saturday, June 25th, and then will be closed for July & August. The landfill will open back up the 1st Saturday in September.
Free Cement Tree Rings:
There are six cement tree rings next to the fence of Shirley Hadley's home located at 350 S. 7700 E. The tree rings are free and available for the first person to pick them up!
Nuisance Ordinance Violations:
This is a friendly reminder to all. Please read the Nuisance Ordinance to see if your property is in violation or not.
The Town has hired an Enforcement Officer and Certified Letters will be mailed out to property owners who are in violation. Thank you in advance for your cooperation on this matter.
TITLE 2: Nuisance Ordinance: 2.2.A.10: Public Nuisances Declared.
10. Yards and Landscaping. Results in the accumulation of excessive vegetation or yard waste on property, including but not limited to, vegetation or landscaping to be un-watered or unmaintained so that it becomes dry or combustible. The failure to properly mow or cut of any lawn with grass and/or weeds growing in excess of six (6) inches in height. This chapter does not apply to bona fide agricultural uses, roadways, or federal or state lands.”
