       Greetings from the land of non-stop rain!
If you're like me, you're so over it! With the exception of a few days, it's been raining consistently in Philadelphia for about 3 weeks.
Anyhow, shoutout to Joe del Tufo for the above photo, captured at last month's Tiny Desk Concert. The whole thing streamed live on NPR Music's Facebook page and you can watch it here if you missed out. It was kind of a surreal experience that I still can't believe even happened!
RECAP...
Aside from that, it has been an extremely restful and low-key season working on new songs, working on my garden (top left), and getting ready for Music Festival Season!! I also opened for Jennifer Knapp (bottom) which was kind of crazy since her music was the soundtrack to my teenager years.
   2,300!!!
...but my week in Nashville was definitely the highlight. I spent the first week of May on a retreat with 12 other Food for the Hungry artists (top right), sharing songs, stories, and recharging after what has been a crazy year! It was exactly what i needed!
Also my love for Food for the Hungry and the good work they are doing across the world has grown exponentially; and i learned that over 2,300 children across the globe have been sponsored over the past 2 years through the collective work of everyone pictured above. THAT'S HUGE!!!! Thank you to everyone reading this who has played a part and sponsored a child at a show! Every single sponsorship literally changes a life!!! I have a crazy amount of photos to add to my little wall of fame. But thank you, thank you, thank you!
