Speak Out for Plants Page Updated – More Tools!.

We have Updated the NPCC Speak Out for Plants webpage to provide better tools to help advocates to speak out for plant conservation and about Trump Administration and Congressional attacks on laws and budgets for plants, science and the environment.

***Please give us your feedback and suggestions regarding these changes!*** We need our tools be complete and useful to you so that we can help make native plant advocacy easier and more effective.

New NPCC Brochure Available!
Our new brochure: Save Plants, Save the Planet, Save Ourselves presents information about the value of and threats to native plants and efforts to conserve them. We hope you will find it useful for public outreach at your native plant sales, presentations, meetings and other events. Organizations can request a print quality PDF to print themselves (5 mb) . We can also help NPCC Affiliates get the brochure professionally printed and delivered at low or no cost. Email danf@plantsocieties.org with requests for pre-printed brochures.

Local Milkweed Sources Needed.

NPCC partners groups - the Endangered Species Coalition and others - are planning a milkweed planting event for this fall. It can be difficult to find locally sourced and appropriate milkweed starts or seeds. Does your group produce milkweed or do you know of reliable suppliers in your area? If you know of good sources for local milkweed, please e mail Emily Roberson.
