Howdy Friends and Family,
Ho Ho Ho.
Merry Merry Merry.
Happy Happy Happy.
I’d like to take a few moments out from my efforts to dismantle our unsustainable materialist culture to encourage you to pick up a few exciting gift items at the Cows With Guns store.
Odds are pretty good that amongst the numerous animal with attitude T-shirts there, you’ll find something for the person you have no clue what to get.
And there’s The Tree book, with Dave Danioth’s incredible artwork, for tree lovers of all ages.

Partying With The Occupiers
While my hands have nearly frozen a number of times, I must say that I’m really enjoying cruising up and down Interstate 5 singing at Occupy Wall Street functions in the Northwest. There is a whiff of hope in the air when the growing army of over-educated, over-indebted, unemployed college students are teaming up with the rest of us who are losing our retirement, our homes and our jobs.

When the people stand together, the people have power. And when the people start exercising their power, they start to have some fun. The discussions of how to reinvent our beleaguered democracy are inspiring: The scene of many generations coming together on a weekly basis for some free vegan soup, free music and a place where almost anyone’s voice can be heard. Folks are happy. And frankly, so am I. I don’t know how long the Occupy Party will last, but as more and more college students graduate to meet the brick wall of a stolen economy and a corporate controlled democracy, I suspect it may last awhile.
