In The Spotlight:
 One of the most unique rides ever at Great Adventure was the Gondola, also known as the Spindletop Gondola. The ride was nearly 100 years old when it was brought to Great Adventure and restored. The ride served as the centerpiece of the Fortune Festival games area but only for a single season in 1977 until it was put into storage. Eventually it made its way back to England where it resides in a museum today.
