RULE OF EIGHT is the electro house project of 23-year-old Blake Bratcher, who gained considerable notoriety with two chart topping bootleg remixes on the Hype machine's "Most Popular" and "Most Tweeted" lists in the last 4 months. It wasn't long before Diplo, Steve Aoki, Bird Peterson, Far Too Loud, and Ocelot were heard playing his tracks at venues across the world. Producing for several years on hacked Game Boys and a variety of other unorthodox mediums, his strong knowledge of sound design has become a staple of his hectic and glitchy musical output. With official remixes for artists such as Ocelot and Bird Peterson awaiting release, RULE OF EIGHT looks poised to become a major player in electronic music.

A solid 9-week lineup of diverse international and regional dj/production talent, Rio Room's Future Series is a showcase of emergent personalities and musical styles. With International talent from Australia and Brazil, as well as regional acts from Oklahoma City and Austin, the series highlights a portfolio of truly global perspectives.

From moombahton innovators Nadastrom, to the electro-house sound of Left/Right, to the nu-disco beats of Flight Facilities, the tastemakers headlining Future Series represent genres of music as spread out across the map as the cities they call home.
