Media Advisory/Photocall Notice (5 October): Open letter to the Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar TD

A coalition of nine community health and social care service providers and charity sector representative bodies will be publishing an open letter to the Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar TD to request his intervention on the threat of indefinite strike action by staff in community and voluntary sector organisations delivering vital public services, from Tuesday, 17 October 2023.

Photocall: Representatives of the participating organisations will gather for a photocall at 12.15 PM at the entrance to the Department of the Taoiseach on Merrion Street Upper.

Participants: Coalition of Túsla Funded Organisations, Disability Federation of Ireland, Dublin Homeless Network, Family Resource Centres National Forum, National Community Care Network, National Federation of Voluntary Service Providers, National Voluntary Drug and Alcohol Sector, Simon Communities of Ireland, and The Wheel (the National Association of Charities).
