INTRODUCTION
Since we last spoke six weeks ago (or since I last spoke to you and several of you spoke back, which was really nice), I’ve been working hard on my young adult urban fantasy novel (more news on that below) and traveling to Orlando and back via Amtrak.
Travel Tip: If you have to take an overnight train ride, bring your own blankie. Also, beware of the Boston Leaner, and don’t sit next to him. The moment he dozes off, your personal space is cut in half. In half, I tell you! Thank me later.
NEW RELEASE: BAD TO THE BONE
The sequel to WICKED GAME will appear officially on May 19, though it’s already shipping from online bookstores and has popped up in many stores around the world. It’s unfashionably early, but please don’t tell the book—it embarrasses easily.
These further adventures of Ciara and the vampire DJs take place from Halloween through New Year’s of the same year as WICKED GAME. WVMP faces a new threat to its survival, and Ciara learns how to live with monsters (of both the two- and four-legged variety).

NEWS
My YA books have official titles and release dates, which means they might actually be real!
Book One, SHADE, will appear in hardcover on or about May 15, 2010, which makes today the negative-one-year anniversary. Celebrate with someone you love.
SHADE will be reprinted in paperback a year later, coinciding with the hardcover release of Book Two, entitled SHIFT. I am extremely excited about this.
