We're Celebrating All
Summer! It's the first anniversary of the launch
of GreatAdventureHistory.com, as well as Great Adventure's 34th birthday,
and we're planning big things for the future! To celebrate and
thank everyone for their support, we're launching the "Summer of
Spotlights" with a new spotlight being added every 10 days right through
Labor Day. Today will be the first of those spotlights, Monster
Spin. At the end of summer, we will be
launching a great new feature, so keep watching your mailbox for a big
announcement around Labor Day!

In The
Spotlight: Monster
Spin Monster Spin was the second of the three
"Octopus" style rides the park has had over the years, replacing the Pretty
Monster in 1977. This family favorite was located next to the
Yum Yum Palace for 10 years, on the site now home to the Teacups.
