We're Celebrating All Summer!
It's the first anniversary of the launch of GreatAdventureHistory.com, as well as Great Adventure's 34th birthday, and we're planning big things for the future!   To celebrate and thank everyone for their support, we're launching the "Summer of Spotlights" with a new spotlight being added every 10 days right through Labor Day.  Today will be the first of those spotlights, Monster Spin.

At the end of summer, we will be launching a great new feature, so keep watching your mailbox for a big announcement around Labor Day!

In The Spotlight:
Monster Spin
Monster Spin was the second of the three "Octopus" style rides the park has had over the years, replacing the Pretty Monster in 1977.   This family favorite was located next to the Yum Yum Palace for 10 years, on the site now home to the Teacups.

Just Added To The Souvenir Collections:
Apparel
A collection of just some of the hundreds of T-Shirts, sweatshirts, hats and jackets sold in the park over the past 34 years.

Do you have park memorabilia you want to sell or trade or are you looking for park memorabilia?   As a member of our Forums you can post your items or item requests in our new Trading Post section.

We'll be adding more to the Apparel page and all the souvenir collections in the coming months, so check back for more memories!

The GreatAdventureHistory
Media Directory

We now have so much great television, print and radio advertising from the park,
we decided to make it easier to browse!

Our new Media Directory launches today with
the first page of Park Advertising.

Remember, you must be a registered member of our Forums to get full access to the Media Galleries, so if you're not a member already, sign up today.   It's quick, and easy, and best of all, it's FREE!

We'll be adding more to the Media Directory over time, so keep checking back!

Once again, thank you all for making GreatAdventureHistory.com a huge success in our first year!
We welcome your questions, comments and suggestions any time:
