John 14:6a I am the way and the truth and the life.
GOD IS TRUTH
The devil is real, a personal being. The Bible says so. Besides, we can see the result of his continuing activity. He tells lies. Indeed, he is the source of lies, going way back to the beginning of lying. It is as natural for Satan to speak lies as it is for God to speak truth. As Jesus said, "The devil is a liar and the father of lies" (John 8:44).
God is truth. Satan rejected truth when he rejected God, and he would have us do the same. Play with the truth and you play into the devil's hands. Reject or neglect Jesus Christ and His word and the father of lies has gotten you to buy the biggest one. You see, in Jesus Christ, we not only find the strength to speak truth, we find the One who is truth. And He promises us, "If you continue in my word, you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:31-32). "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life."
