Hello, Firstname

Wednesday 4 May

Next Wednesday, 4 May, we will be treated to a presentation by our own Sandie Cox DPAGB ARPS EFIAP, who will be giving her talk In search of Polar Bears. Sandie says of her talk:

This talk documents various trips I have taken to the Svalbard Archipelago in search of polar bears.  The images have been taken on a series of three visits over a number of years.
Looking for bears can be frustrating, exciting and exhilarating sometimes all at the same time! Of course, there are not just polar bears to look out for – there are other mammals too and of course plenty of birds and the landscape is wonderful. All my visits have been dedicated photography trips and although a lot of time is spent actually looking for bears (not just by the crew but all the photographers on board as well, so a good pair of binoculars is a must), visits on shore are also a feature where, if you are lucky you can get up close and personal with an arctic fox. So come and join me on 4 May for a trip into the Arctic Circle and share my memories of three wonderful wildlife experiences

Trumpet Bowers' Corner
Salon acceptances: BPS photographers are now achieving large numbers of salon acceptances and constraints on time and space mean we can't include them all. So please only advise of awards or other milestones.
Contrary to popular belief, I do not possess psychic powers and need you to tell me if you've had successes. If you want to blow your own trumpet (or someone else's), then this is the place to do it. Please let me know and I'll include details in a future issue

Items For Sale
If you have any photographic items for sale, drop me a line and I'll include it in the next newsletter. Please make sure that you provide contact details, price and full description of the sale items (pictures always help).

IMPORTANT: Personal Detail Changes
Please don't forget that if you change your address (home or email), or gain additional photographic distinctions, it would be appreciated if you could let the Membership Secretary know so that she can keep her records up to date, this will also ensure that you continue to receive your newsletters - please email all changes to membership@bristolphoto.org.uk

The distinctions we have on record are those shown at the top of this newsletter, please remember, if you don't tell us we can't possibly know!

DO NOT REPLY TO THE NEWSLETTER.
