Funeral Services for Connie Creamer
Connie Mae Gledhill Creamer
May 20, 1937-August 8, 2016

Connie Mae Gledhill Creamer passed away on August 8, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah of complications due to heart disease. She was 79 years old.
Born on May 20, 1937 in Bountiful, Utah, a loving daughter to Boyd and Margaret Brough Gledhill. Married September 4, 1954 to her high school sweetheart, Richard LaMar Creamer. They were sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on September 6, 1955.
She is survived by her husband, Richard, and her wonderful children and spouses: Kaylene (Ken) Chalmers, Laurie (Brett) Allen, LaMar (Tami) Creamer, Peggy (Tim) Harding, and Becky (AJ) Moone: 21 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren, all of whom adored her. She is also survived by her sister, Lynn (Tom) O'Toole and brother Robert (Pat) Gledhill, as well as numerous brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Scott Boyd, and her parents. 
Connie lived in Huntsville for the past 47 years. She attended Myton Elementary, Valley School in Huntsville, and graduated from Weber High School in Ogden.
She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in numerous callings including Primary President, Relief Society President, Young Women leader, Ward Organist, and faithful Visiting Teacher. A special calling later in her life was to serve as a Nursery leader with her husband. 
She served 3 two-year LDS missions with her husband to Bolivia, Romania and Arizona/Oregon. She also served as an ordinance worker in the Ogden LDS Temple. 
Connie worked at Valley school in Huntsville as a Librarian, then as the school Secretary for over 30 years and was dearly loved by the students and her co-workers.
She was a very creative and talented seamstress making wedding dresses, blessing outfits, quilts, and crocheted and knitted creations. She won many awards for her handicrafts including county Best of Show and state blue ribbons. 
Her sweet and gentle presence was a strength to her family and all who knew her. She will truly be missed. 
Friends may visit family on Sunday August 14, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah. Funeral services will be on Monday August 15, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Huntsville Chapel, 277 S. 7400 E. Huntsville, Utah with a viewing from 9:30-10:30 am. Interment in the Liberty Utah Cemetery.
