It is with a heavy - no broken heart that I have to announce the passing of Bridget Nancy Margaret Haggerty on June 4th.

Although it has been six weeks, it feels like yesterday to me.

I will continue maintaining the Irish Culture and Customs web site and I will produce a newsletter every month starting in August. I can’t promise they will be as good as Bridget’s so cut me a lttle slack on this.

 

A Mass will be held In loving memory of Bridget Nancy Margaret Haggerty, ne O’Flaherty at Saint Peter in Chains Cathedral 325 West 8th Street Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 at 1:30pm on Saturday August 5th.

 

A wake will follow at 4:00pm -8:00pm at The Irish Heritage Center of Greater Cincinnati, 3905 Eastern Ave. Cincinnati Ohio 45226

 

In lieu of flowers donations should be made to The American Heart Association. Our local branch is at 5211 Madison Rd. Cincinnati Ohio 45227.

 

I know most of you cannot possibly attend and I understand but if any of you can, you will be welcome.
