TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day down 0.41% at 166,235. Foods Excluding Sugar (+3.34%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Machinery & Equipment (-2.51%). Banking (+0.24%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 650 billion (approx. USD 15 million). Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES -2.09%), Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co. (PNBA -1.46%) and National Iranian Copper Ind. Co. (MSMI -0.83%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Tejarat Bank (BTJR +2.93%) was the most traded stock with IRR 422 billion (approx. USD 10 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 3,395 billion (approx. USD 81 million), down 14% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 8,207 for a loss of 0.44%. The biggest riser was Pardis Petrochemical Co. (PRDZ +2.15%) while Civil Pension Fund Investment Co. (SAND -2.26%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 981 billion (approx. USD 23 million), down 24% from the previous trading session. |
