TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index gained 0.61% on the first trading session of the week, closing at 85,263. Most sectors ended in positive territory with Paper Products (+3.62%) leading gainers. The biggest faller was Pharmaceuticals (-0.23%). Base Metals (+1.95%) posted the highest trading volume of IRR 161 billion (approx. USD 4 million). Today Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +2.53%), National Iranian Copper Industries Co. (MSMI +2.87%) and Chadormalu Mining & Industrial Co. (+4.16%) were the main positive movers of the All-Share Index. The most traded stock by value was National Iranian Copper Industries Co. (MSMI +2.87%) with volume of IRR 50 billion (approx. USD 1.2 million). Total market traded value reached IRR 1,104 billion (approx. USD 28 million), down 22% from Wednesday.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization added 0.98% to close at 3,489. Chadormalu Mining & Industrial Co. (+4.16%) posted the biggest gain of the day among the top 30s, while Jam Petrochemical Co. (PJMZ -0.49%) was the weakest. The total trade volume of the top 30s reached IRR 309 billion (approx. USD 7.7 million), up 35% from the previous session.
