Hello Firstname

Wednesday 8 April
Next Wednesday sees a visit to BPS by Iain McGowan FRPS with his talk Straight from the Garden Shed. Iain is a professional photographer specialising in Landscape and Environmental Photography and is a member of Chichester Camera Club. He has published several books reflecting his interest in local landscapes and history. His photographs have been featured in numerous books, publications, postcards and exhibitions.
Don’t be misled by the title; the garden shed is where he produces his pictures and, for the purists, he doesn’t do computer manipulation - it promises to be a wonderful evening.

Unit 13
Work is now progressing apace with the majority of the internal demolition work now complete. Below are a few pictures taken at this week's site meeting between the architect, builder and representatives of BPS.

The view from what will be the tea and coffee servery at the front of the building, looking towards the back and the main meeting room. The doorway on the right (framing yours truly in obligatory hard hat) is due to be bricked up and the right hand wall beyond the planks leaning against wall is to be demolished to create the meeting room.
The view looking towards the front, from what will be the raised platform; the room to the left is due to be demolished this week. You can see that the first floor is now partly removed in preparation for the new high ceiling to go in.

The view looking down through the partly demolished first floor into the new meeting room. The ceiling of the meeting room will line up with the window sill of the two narrow, high level windows that you can see on the back wall.
The area to the right of the step ladder will form the new first floor projection/committee room, the door at the back leads to the new main store room. The area to the left will be swallowed up by the ground floor main meeting room.
