What is ReBelle doing for Covid-19?

For the past week we have been actively disinfecting the communal surfaces around the shop before we open and throughout the day. We have been wiping down the classroom between classes and private lessons and we have been encouraging the use of handwashing over hand sanitizers (y’all went through an entire container of hand soap last week, I have never been so happy to refill the bottle.) All that said, there are a few things we believe we can do better and now it is time to make those hard choices.

We are suspending all gatherings in the shop (classes, in-person knit alongs, and our March Madness Sale) through April 7. Our shop is small and our classroom does not provide the space for the recommended distancing based on recent group sizes. Private lessons will still be happening for the time being. For those currently enrolled in classes that have started, we will extend those classes and announce those dates once this has passed. For those enrolled in classes that have not yet started, we will contact you and let you know what is happening with those. As for the March Madness sale, we are tentatively moving it to LYS Day on April 25. We will announce more as we get closer and have a better idea what that looks like.

As for shopping, we know you are going to need yarn to get you through the coming weeks of isolation and as of now we are planning to keep the doors open. Fewer people have been coming into the shop, so most likely only one person at a time will be shopping in the coming weeks. If you feel uncomfortable coming into the shop, we will gladly pack up your order and either bring it out to your car or ship it to you, just let us know. If there is another way we can serve you, feel free to give us a call and we will do our best to meet your needs.

We really appreciate the community’s show of support this week, this is going to be tough on small businesses as it is going to be tough on everyone and while this is sad, everyone’s safety is our first priority. You are our family, our friends, and our community, we want to celebrate many more years of yarn love with you. We will announce more as time goes on and we have a better idea what the course of the epidemic is.
