Caerfyrddin Claim the Gavel
The Worshipful Master of Caerfyrddin Lodge No. 4928, W Bro Phillip Rimell was at the head of a 10 strong contingent of Carmarthen Brethren who made the journey to Llanelli to claim the West Wales Travelling Gavel. Click here to read all about it.
 
Olympic Hopeful
On Tuesday 22nd December 2015, Castlemartin Lodge representatives together with representatives from the Narberth lodge gathered together at the Begelly Arms Hotel in Kilgetty, to make a Charity presentation to Miss Gabriella Ridge, a young lady from the Narberth area who is currently the British Junior Ladies Canoe Slalom Champion. The New Chain Gang
After many years of service to the Province, VW Bro Brian Hilling has indicated that he wishes to retire as Deputy Provincial Grand Master from the Provincial Meeting in July. Nearly £12 Million to Hospices
Two hundred and forty-five hospices across England & Wales are currently receiving grants from The Freemasons' Grand Charity totalling £600,000. Since 1984, the Charity has donated nearly £12 million in support of hospices. Presenting a cheque for £500 to a team led by Toni-Marie Dorkings, Fund Raising Coordinator at The Paul Sartori Foundation, Right Worshipful Brother Stephen Hookey, Provincial Grand Master of the Masonic Province of West Wales said:

“Freemasons in West Wales are thrilled that The Freemasons' Grand Charity has continued to provide this vital funding for our local hospices. The care, compassion and support they provide to the community are outstanding and we are delighted that we are able to show our continuing dedication to their cause."

H.O.P.E. Presentation - January 16
On Friday 8th January 2016, The Deputy Provincial Grand Master of the Province of West Wales, Very Worshipful Brother Brian C Hilling, accompanied the Deputy Grand Superintendent and Charity Steward of Strumble Lodge, W Bro Dr Bryn W Barton attended a well-supported concert and service at St Clement’s Church Neyland.
