Market Summary

TSE All-Share Index

The TSE All-Share Index closed little changed today at 79,390, up 0.11%. The top per­forming sector was Sugar (+5.93%) while Metallic Products (-2.57%) led fallers. Automo­tive (+0.53%) was the most traded among sectors with IRR 470 billion (approx. USD 12.5 million) of shares exchanged. Stocks making the most impact on the All-Share Index to­day were led by Tamin Petroleum & Petrochemical Investment Co. (PTAP +2.93%), Tele­communication Company of Iran (MKBT +1.63%) and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Indus­tries Co. (PKLJ +0.93%). SAIPA Group (+0.5%) was the most traded stock on the TSE with IRR 125 billion (approx. USD 3.3 million) of shares exchanged.  Total traded value reached IRR 3,208 billion (approx. USD 86 million), up 15% from yesterday.

 

TSE30 Index

The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization slipped 0.09% to close at 3,102. Tamin Petroleum & Petrochemical Investment Co. (PTAP +2.93%) was the top gainer of the day, while Golgohar Mining & Industrial Co. (GOLG -2.05%) fell the most. The total traded value of the top 30s reached IRR 460 billion (approx. USD 12 million), down 12% from yesterday.
