Yes, the “webshop”
is up and running!! The lay-out will be changed in future, but you can
order language learning materials
and Holland
merchandise (more items will be for sale every week). Right now, there is a beautiful painting of a cow (in Dutch rain
;-), a booklet with columns about
French (in Dutch), and a German booklet with the ins and outs of Amsterdam.
Last month, I’ve not only been busy
launching the web shop, but there were many fun teaching projects as well. Two of them involved my horse Morpheus: he was helping a
young girl who was anxious about language tests in school, and a private immersion
student asked for a riding lesson in
Dutch. Morph was a great help!
Plus: I made a new, free online
exercise (hear a question spoken in Dutch, which you’ll have to
answer). And in case you hadn’t come around to it, you can still find out your level of Dutch. New
exercises will be added regularly.
So, it has been a busy month. Next month will be
filled with great trainings as well. You can sign up for one of the immersion courses, or if you just
wish to use your Dutch, you can join a kirigami-card-making-workshop or come and learn to draw (better) (see
attachments and schedule).
I’d like to end with a Dutch blooper:
“Thinking
"Doorgaand Verkeer"
and "Andere Richtingen"
were nice places to visit....I saw sign posts for them everywhere...”
What is your funniest
blooper?
Tot ziens!
