SELLERSVILLE THEATER DUAL CD RELEASE PARTY! - By now, most of you know about our upcoming show at The Sellersville Theater next week, Friday, July 7. We are unveiling a new CD called "Travelers On The Road". This is not a Mighty Manatees album although many of us sing and play on it. It's more of a one-off, labor of love, specialty project. Half of the album could be called bluegrass music. We will be playing songs from the album at this show. Our band will include Randy, Jozo, Tim, Karl, Kathleen, John, Wesley Rast on drums, and myself. Guest musicians include Dance & Jeannette Wareham, Ted The Fiddler, and my daughters Fiona and Eleanor Hodgson. Fun Fact: Fiona will also be selling her crafts at our merchandise table in the theater lobby.
Opening the show will be the mighty Mike Guldin and Rollin' & Tumblin' who ALSO have a new CD out! Their album is called "The Franklin Sessions" which has two songs that Mike and I wrote together. Tim, Karl, John, and Kathleen, will also perform with The Tumblers. At the very end of the show, both bands will play together for a grand finale! UPPER SALFORD PARK FREE CONCERT! - Our annual free concerts in Upper Salford Park started back in 2015. We will be back there again on Thursday evening, July 13. This is an all-ages, pet friendly, outdoor event with free drinks and snacks. We will play a 90 minute set from 7:00 to 8:30. Upper Salford Park is located at 559 Salford Station Road, Schwenksville, PA. Thanks to John Stacy.
SAINT PETER'S VILLAGE! - We return to scenic Saint Peter's Village on Thursday, July 20. We perform outside at 3250 St. Peters Rd. from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. This a free, all ages event w/ food trucks. Thanks to Chris Dilworth.
THE FITZWATER STATION! - When we played The Fitzwater Station in Mont Clare, PA, last month, over 200 people attended. This is another one of our free, outdoor, all ages, pet friendly shows. Showtime is 3:00 - 7:00 PM. Thanks to Frank McLaughlin.
J. GARCIA BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE @ ED ROCKS! - It's true! We return to the magical Ed Rocks amphitheater in Bethlehem, PA, on Sunday laughternoon, July 30 (two days before Jerry's Aug. 1 birthday). We will be playing both acoustic and electric sets celebrating the music of The Grateful Dead and Jerry's various solo projects. Showtime is 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Thanks to Ed & Lois.
