Scotland Island Kindergarten Market Fair

September 21st

Friday 21st is a curry night with bingo and some live local music in the hall.

Tickets are $12.50 or all you can eat. There will be bingo and a selection of live music for entertainment.

Sunday 23rd is the kindy Market Fair, to be held in Catherine Park from 10:30 – 3:30pm. This will be an event for children of all ages, plus families and individuals. Some of the attractions include;

The Bakeoff Café serving cakes and tea / coffee with local school children busking.
Sausage Sizzle with vego options
Market stalls for children to sell their stuff
Native plants
Second hand books and clothes
Games and events for the kids ;
Apple bobbing, three legged race, tug of war, hula hooping
Puppet Show
In conjunction with SIRA :

“Recycle-bling” craft tent where kids make their own tinnie / plane / car from recycled materials to parade them later in the day

Recycle your old funky junk for the KINDY CUP

Bring along a cardboard box, a bag of recycled goodies and stuff to attach it with such as string, ribbon, glue etc, to build your own Tinny, Putt-Putt, Ferry, Seaplane or any other sea craft for the inaugural great sea craft parade.

For a head start:

Start at home and get Mum and Dad to give a hand or two! Come down to the tent Sunday morning time if you want to add some extra Bling!
