Over the past few weeks I have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the varied selection of new offerings at ClassicarGarage. A particular highlight was the Bentley “Blue Train” replica built by Racing Green Engineering, which showcases the impeccable craftsmanship still alive in our industry. Yours truly has tested and photographed more classics and sports cars now for sale. A handsome Triumph GT6 and a Land Rover 88 have already found new owners, but six more stunning vehicles are on display below. BENTLEY 'BLUE TRAIN', 1949
 
Bentley "Blue Train" built by Racing Green Engineering, chassis year 1949. This beautiful Bentley is a replica of the legendary "one-off" 1930 Bentley Speed Six with a two-door coupé body by Gurney Nutting. The original car is depicted in a painting by Terence Cuneo depicting the Nice-to-Calais "duel" between the Bentley Speed Six and the "Blue Train," which was won by the Bentley (see website!). This beautiful replica of the Bentley Speed Six "Blue Train" was built by Racing Green Engineering (RGE) in Wales. Construction of this impressive automobile was completed in 2017. The replica is based on a 1949 Bentley Mk 6 chassis, and the skilled RGE craftsmen handcrafted the special "Gurney Nutting" two-door coupé body entirely by hand. The fully overhauled Mk 6 chassis is equipped with a large 6516 cc B81 inline eight-cylinder engine, coupled with a four-speed manual transmission. Since its delivery in 2017, the Bentley has had one owner who displayed the car in a car collection. The Bentley has only driven 120 kilometers and is in BRAND NEW condition! MG MGC ROADSTER, 1969
 
MG MGC Roadster, 1969. Finished in dark British Racing Green with a beautiful black soft top, this magnificent MGC has an elegant and understated profile. The interior features black leather seats with headrests and the original leather-wrapped steering wheel. This European-spec model, sold new in the Netherlands, is equipped with the desirable steel dashboard, an overdrive gearbox, and chrome wire wheels. Under the care of two successive MG enthusiasts, the car has won prizes at concours in both the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Of the 4,500 MGC Roadsters built between 1967 and 1969, only 592 left-hand drive examples were delivered to Europe. This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase a meticulously restored and well-documented classic MGC in excellent condition!

DATSUN 240Z, 1973
 
Datsun 240Z, year 1973. Exterior colour orange 918 combined with a black interior and black GB-style alloy wheels. This beautiful and iconic Datsun 240Z was sold new in California, USA. In 2016 the car was imported to the Netherlands. In the period 2017-2018 the car was extensively restored to top condition by a Datsun specialist. The rust-free Californian car was restored to original specifications. No expense or effort was spared in the pursuit of perfection. This Datsun 240Z is in a sublime top condition and the car drives and handles perfectly. The inline-six exhaust note is truly magnificent and very addictive! PORSCHE 911 (993) CARRERA 2 CABRIOLET, 1994
 
Porsche 911 (993) Carrera 2 convertible, 1994. Color: midnight blue metallic combined with a gray Raff leather interior and gray carpeting. Dark blue convertible top and hood cover. This fantastic Porsche 911 (993) Carrera 2 convertible was delivered new in the Netherlands in April 1994 by importer Pon. Since then, the car has been meticulously maintained by Pon in Amersfoort and subsequently by Porsche specialist Theo Jansen and Porsche/Ferrari specialist Fred Huisman. The complete maintenance history is documented. The current odometer reading is 133,150 km. The car is in excellent condition with minor signs of wear in the interior. The car has never suffered any damage and has always been stored indoors. This magnificent Porsche convertible has been cherished by its last owner since November 2004. JAGUAR XJ12 SOVEREIGN, 1986
 
Jaguar XJ12 Sovereign, year 1986. Colour Gun Metal grey metallic combined with a beige leather interior and light brown carpet. This beautiful Jaguar XJ12 Sovereign was sold new in the Netherlands by importer Hessing in de Bilt. The new price was no less than 123,000 Dutch guilders (equal to € 285,000 now!). This limousine has only known two caring owners. The first owner until 2025, the second owner from 2015 to 2025. From new, this majestic Jaguar has driven 135,000 kilometers. In 2019, the car underwent a thorough inspection by a restoration specialist. This beautiful Jaguar XJ12 Sovereign is in an excellent and super original condition and the car drives perfectly!

TRIUMPH TR 3A, 1959
 
Triumph TR 3A, year 1959. Colour dark green (British Racing Green) combined with a beige leather interior trimmed with beige carpet. The car is fitted with a beige hood-cover, a black mohair soft-top, black side-screen frames and a black mohair tonneau cover. This beautiful Triumph TR 3A was extensively restored in the Netherlands in the past. A complete photo report of the restoration is present. Since completion of the restoration, the car has been driven sparingly and has always been neatly garaged. The car is in a superb top condition! TRIUMPH TR 4, 1962
 
Triumph TR 4, 1962. Red exterior colour combined with a black leather interior trimmed with white piping and black carpet. This beautiful Triumph TR 4 is fitted with a rare original "Surrey" top. Porsche copied this "Targa" roof from it. The fabric roof section with a folding frame can be stored very compactly in the trunk. This Triumph TR 4 has been restored in the past and the car is in very good to excellent condition. The driving experience is superb; this TR 4 drives and handles excellently. This Triumph TR 4 shows all the original details. A distinguishing feature of the early TR 4 is the fantastic white dashboard with numerous gauges. MORRIS MINOR 1000 TRAVELLER, 1965
 
Morris Minor 1000 Traveller, year 1965. This beautiful Morris Minor Traveller finished in Almond Green with a matching green interior, was imported from England in 2001 and has been carefully maintained in the Netherlands ever since. The car comes with a full history, documenting routine maintenance and a conversion to left-hand drive. In 2007-2008 the bodywork was professionally restored by a Morris Minor specialist in England. Over the past 24 years the car has covered approximately 10,000 miles (16,000 kilometres). The last major service was carried out in September 2024.
