	HR 40 Support: Letter Writing & Phone-Banking Party




	The San Jose Nikkei Resisters and other supporting organizations are hosting a virtual event supporting HR 40: Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African-Americans Act on July 6th at 7 pm (Pacific Time). NOC is one of the supporting organizations. This is what we'll do during the event:
	Give updates on HR 40 Q&A on supporting letters to House leadership Individual testimony writing Folding, addressing letters/testimonies Phone banking

	If you cannot participate in the July 6 Letter Writing/Phone-Banking party, you can still help:
	Make phone calls on your own time, even after-hours. You can leave a message on their voice mail. Write an individual, personal letter urging the House leadership to bring HR40 to a vote on the floor of Congress. Addresses are included in the template. Please mail it by July 9. Write a letter on behalf of an organization you belong to. Here's a template for an organizational letter. Addresses are included in the template. Please mail it by July 9.
