Anyhow, hello everyone! It’s been quite some time since I sent a real update. It feels like Ive been in extreme transition over these last few months while still squeezing in shows here and there. Welcome to all you new subscribers - namely those who came out to a date on recent my September run with JD Eicher and Charlie Oxford. We found ourselves in 11 cities in 11 days, in 1 car accident (bleh), having a last minute show cancellation that got moved to another venue with 1 day notice, and amongst a slew of new friends made by all the wonderful people out there who support independent music. Thank you!
 LIVING IN PHILLY
Well Ive been living in Philadelphia for 6 full weeks now. It has been quite the change. This city is huge and there’s alot happening. There is also massive amounts of traffic and it makes me want to rip out my afro - there, i said it! In any case, i have enjoyed familiarizing myself with the music scene, living with my sister, and getting lost on an almost daily basis :) I just need to work on making friends :) and finding a solid church community (suggestions please)! In any case, Peace and I are playing our first official ’’Hey I Live In Philly’’ show on Saturday, November 15th at The Cedar Works studios in University City. We’re sharing the night with our good friends Sympathy & The Lion and we can’t even wait! Save that date and scroll down for more deets.

I have really been getting excited about all the people stepping up to sponsor kids at my shows! Ive been partnering with Food for the Hungry for about 5 months now and in the midst of all that is happening in the world (and there is alot), it can get overwhelming and feel like nothing we do really matters or makes a difference. But it does!!! If you’re thinking about sponsoring a child, please do! You will literally change a life! You can sponsor a kid at any of my upcoming shows...or directly through my website!  FALL TOURING!
This fall is a craaazy one (but ill be taking Winter incredibly slow). 3 big(ger) shows in Pittsburgh, Philly, and Chicago and a bunch of other Midwest Northeast dates. If you’re in Pittsburgh please consider making it to next weekends band show! I’ll be joined by Jason Rafalak (upright bass), Ryan Socrates (percussion), and my sister Peace on djembe! The 4 of us never get to play together and we are pretty stoked! it will be for a wonderful cause - to raise funds for an orphanage a couple of my friends started in Haiti some years ago.
I’m also still working to fill my Nov 2 with a house concert in or near Chicago so please shoot me a message if you would like to host something!
