Pour ce dimanche 19 Mai 2013, rejoignez-nous pour une randonnée de niveau moyen allant de Marj el Tawil dans la reserve des Cèdres du Chouf jusqu'à Aammiq (Bekaa). Nous visiterons la forêt des cèdres du Barouk pour continuer vers l'Est et aboutir au versant donnant sur la Bekaa. De splendides vues nous attendent.
Notre terminus sera Aammiq dans la plaine de la Bekaa. Nous commencerons la marche à 1650 mètres et terminerons à 940 mètres. Il y aura peu de montées et surtout de la descente. La marche durera environ 4 heures avec les arrêts.
Détails pratiques:
Durée de la rando : 4h à 4h30
Longueur de la marche : 10 km
Dénivelé: 300 mètres positif, et 630 mètres négatif
Difficulté: marche de difficulté moyenne sur piste
A prévoir: chaussures de marche, sac à dos, gourde , casse croûte, lunettes de soleil, crème solaire, coupe vent, chapeau.
Le prix : par personne est de 28$ incluant le transport en bus, l'assurance, les guides et l’entrée à la réserve. (Apportez la monnaie exacte)
Faisabilité : Il faut être au minimum 15 inscrits pour que la sortie ait lieu.
Le rendez-vous
est à 7:30 am précise au parking qui est près de l’urgence de l'hôpital du Sacré Cœur à Hazmieh. Pour y arriver prendre la bifurcation à droite juste apres Pain d'Or. C'est le 1er parking a votre gauche. Soyez Ponctuel !

This Sunday May 19, 2013 we are heading to the Chouf Cedar Reserve for a medium level hike beginning at Marj el Tawil and ending in Aammiq (Bekaa) through the Cedar Chouf reserve. We will visit the cedar forest of Barouq, then we will head East to arrive on the Bekaa side of the mountain. Splendid views will be waiting for us.
We will begin at the altitude of 1650 meters and end up at 940 meters. It will take nearly 4 hours including the rest time.
Practical details:
Hike duration 4h to 4h30.
The trail will be a medium level of difficulty
Length of the trail: 10 km
Difference in level: up hill: 300 m down hill: 630 m,
What to bring: walking shoes, back pack, water, light meal (sandwich, dried fruits,..), sunglasses, sun screen, lipstick, hat, wind breaker (K-way).
Cost: 28$ covering guides, transportation, insurance and reserve entrance. (Kindly bring the exact change).
Feasibility: A minimum of 15 persons is required.

Meeting: is at 7:30 am at the parking next to the Emergency Entrance of the Sacré Cœur hospital Hazmieh. To reach it, turn right towards Pain d'Or. The Parking is the 1st one on you left. Please, be on time!
