News Diary Notice: Joint Media Briefing Tuesday, 27 September 2016
What: Six national networks, representing 1,600 Irish charities, will reveal the impact of the recent controversies in the charity sector. The impact of funding cuts on front-line services for people with disabilities, carers, young people, rural communities and other public service users will also be discussed. The results of a recent survey of 57 charities will be unveiled, and a call will be made on Government ahead of Budget 2016 to prioritise the restoration of budgets for key services.
