Hello Firstname

Wednesday 15 August
This Wednesday we have a CD presentation of the NEMPF Exhibition. NEMPF is similar to the WCPF and is the North East Midland Photographic Federation; they hold an annual exhibition with entries from all the clubs in their federation. The accepted images are then put together as an audio visual presentation with musical background and a commentary by Ashley Franklyn; Ashley is an ex BBC Radio presenter and provides the evening with an entertaining and very professional commentary.

Digital Imaging Group
The DI Group meets on Monday 13 August at 7.30pm. As usual, all are welcome and Ashwin looks forward to as many members as possible bringing along examples of their work, whether it be for advice from fellow members or just to show everyone what you've been doing over the last month.

Hi, Carol

I am casting for a new episode of the popular Channel 4 show "Come Dine With Me" and we are looking for people in Bristol to take part. I just wondered if I could speak to someone in the Society about this and find out if any members would like to apply. I have attached some more information about the show and how to apply.
Hope to hear from you soon,

Studio/Clubrooms - Building Works
Don't forget that the clubrooms are out of action for all but programmed meetings for the another week whilst we have essential building works done. Please check with Nick Ball as to studio availability during the rest of August (studio@bristolphoto.org.uk)

Things to Photograph
Don't forget that its the Balloon Fiesta this weekend.

Priddy Sheep Fair - If you were thinking of attending the fair this year, then do't. Because the village green is in very poor condition after the recent wet weather, the fair has been cancelled for this year.

If you know of any events happening that might be of interest to fellow club members, please let me know and I will include the details here.

Trumpet Blowers' Corner
If you want to blow your own trumpet or, dare I say such a thing, blow someone else's trumpet for them, then this is the place to do it. Please let me know and I'll include it in the next issue.

Items For Sale
If you have something photographic that you want to sell, why not let me have details and I can circulate them to a captive audience of photographers through the Newsletter - send to the usual address.

Copy required
If you have anything you think other members would like to know about, such as exhibitions, special events etc. please let me know at newsletter@bristolphoto.org.uk
