***Colorado Cannabis Industry Edibles Agreement
Below is the Colorado cannabis production industry adopting standards ahead of any regulation from the their Colorado enforcement division. This may be an area where Nevada can also take the lead as well.

Vice always does entertaining and informative stories and they have started a video series and have a part of their website dedicated to cannabis. The first video story was about children and young adults using RSO to treat their cancer.

***IP1 Initiative Petition One
Senator Segerblom has stated that the cannabis industry has to start promoting IP1 in March. Please connect / contribute to the campaign to regulate marijuana like alcohol.
WECAN and NORML are also going to be doing everything they can from registering voters and getting the word out that IP1 is how we will decriminalize cannabis and regulate it to protect our community.
***Upcoming May 11th & 12th Reno & Las Vegas Marijuana Summit
My fear is this summit will contribute misinformation that will not be to the benefit of the cannabis industry or community. The last one was filled with “Reefer Madness” and misinformation. A few doctors walked out at the last one or maybe a few of you attended the last one and want to commensurate about our shared experience.
One of the speakers was recently on KNPR and spun the biggest piece of misinformation about cannabis, Dr. Pohl. Listen to it below. We need to fight back with facts against unbalanced arguments against cannabis.

Please support cannabis magazines with your advertising dollars. They are instrumental in the Nevada marijuana community by informing patients, future patients, and out of town guests who are cannabis patients. They also normalize cannabis consumption for the Nevada community and the world. It is going to take a good 6 months of continued advertisement for your brand to really resonate with consumers. Each magazine allows you to reach a different segment of cannabis consumers, so I advise that you advertise in both and WECAN.
