We're excited to share this "Idea of the Week", submitted by either the MAiZE staff or one of your fellow siteowners. There never seems to be a shortage of ideas and the truth is that some of the best originate with all of you! Deadlines Approaching...Time to Order Your MAiZE Materials on the Online Shopping Cart!

Though the large majority of items sold in the MAiZE Online Store don't have deadlines (they are sold on a first come-first serve basis until inventory is gone), there are a couple that do have approaching deadlines...
July 1: Order your spinning wheels for MAiZE-O-Poly, Spin for Adventure or Simon Says to guarantee August 1 delivery. There is a second deadline of August 1 for anyone okay with September 1 delivery.
July 20: Order your hole punches for MAiZE-O-Poly.
On all other items without deadlines, please order approximately 2 weeks before you need your item to allow for packaging and shipping. CLICK HERE to visit the MAIZE Store.

With access to all of our graphics, one of the main benefits they provide is FREE GRAPHIC DESIGN on any item you order!
For those who don't have the McNeil Printing Order Packet, distributed at the 2011 CornParty and in the new owner training guides, you can download a copy by CLICKING HERE.
There are no deadlines, but you'll want to order around 3 weeks prior to when you actually need your items delivered (to allow for design, approvals, printing, shipping).

Reminder: July 7 Deadline for Ordering Scout Patches

The order deadline for the 2012 MAZE patch is July 7, with an expected delivery date of August 19. Orders should be emailed to sales@krelman.com (Contact Name: Kelly Williams). You can also call or fax your order if you prefer. Numbers are 1-800-231-9556 or 719-561-3911. Fax is 719-561-9939.
All orders will need to be placed with a credit card. Our billing is now done by Conrad Industries. There will be two charges on your card—one for the patch order
and a later one for the shipping charges. The shipping point will be from Asheville, NC.
The cost will be @$0.36 if we get to the 10,000 piece mark. If we go past the 25,000 piece total mark, then the price will be reduced to @$0.33. Everyone together ordered 30,000 pieces total last year, so we hope to reach the lower price point.

Reminder: July 15 Deadline for Scholarship Applications

Daniel Huffstutler, a good friend and former MAIZE owner, was one of the first to bring the corn maze concept to the southern states, opening a location in his hometown of Locust Fork, Alabama in 1998. In the spring of 1999, at the age of 24, Daniel unexpectedly suffered a brain aneurysm and passed away. The Daniel Huffstutler Memorial Scholarship was established in 2007 to honor his memory and help further his passion and love for agriculture. |

The annual scholarship, now in its 5th year, provides an immediate family member of a MAiZE owner with $1000 toward their college education. Applications are due July 15 and the winners will be announced by mid-August. Applications are reviewed and scored by the 6 members of our MAiZE Siteowner Advisory Board and this year two scholarships will be awarded:
$1000 MAiZE-sponsored Scholarship
$1000 Jumping Pillow USA-sponsored Scholarship
