Chers amis,
 
Cap vers la réserve du chouf pour ce Dimanche. Nous passerons par l’entrée de Ain Zhalta pour commencer notre rando dans une superbe foret de cèdres. Le chemin est en montée et débouche plus loin sur un sentier menant au sommet. Nous emprunterons un chemin à flanc de montagne avec vue superbe aérienne sur la région, nous menant vers la foret des cèdres du Barouk. C'est sur la section 18 du LMT que nous randonnerons 
La marche est de niveau moyen. 
 
Cette rando  fait partie d'une série d'évements organisés par Lebanese Adventure en partenariat avec la Lebanon Mountain Trail Association (LMTA).
 

Détails pratiques: 
Distance : 9 Kms
Durée de la marche : 3h30 – 4h
Difficulté: Niveau moyen/avec montée sur 1.5 Km
Dénivelé : Positif 200 mts
Dénivelé Négatif 100 mts
 
A prévoir: chaussures de marche, bâtons de marche, sac à dos, gourde (pleine),chapeau, lunettes de soleil, crème solaire,  et coupe vent.
 
Le prix: par personne est de 36$  incluant le transport en bus, l'assurance, les guides, l'entrée a la réserve.
 
 
Le rendez vous est à 7:30 am précise au parking qui est près de l’urgence de l'hôpital du Sacré Cœur à Hazmieh. Pour y arriver prendre la bifurcation à droite juste apres Pain d'Or. C'est le 1er parking a votre gauche. Soyez Ponctuel !

Dear Friends,
the chouf reserve is our destination for this Sunday. We will begin at the entrance of Ain Zhalta to pass through  a superb cedar forest. The path is uphill and ends up on a path leading to the summit. We will take the mountainside road with superb aerial view of the region, leading us towards the cedar forest of Barouk. It is on section 18 of the LMT that we will hike 9 km
The walk is of average level.

Practical details:
Distance : 9 kms
Hike duration : 3h30 - 4h
Difficulty: medium/begin with an uphill for 1.5 Km
Uphill : 200 mts
Downhill: 100 mts
 
What to bring: walking shoes, walking pole, back pack, water, sunglasses, sun screen, lipstick, hat and wind breaker (K-way).
 
Cost: 36$ covering guides, transportation, insurance, entrance to the reserve.
 
 
The meeting  is at 7:30 am at the parking next to the Emergency Entrance of the Sacré Cœur hospital Hazmieh. To reach it, turn right towards Pain d'Or. The Parking is the 1st one on you left. Please, be on time!
