Pink Water Taxis - Operating HoursPink

By inspection, the Dept. of Transport, Roads and Maritime Services, (RMS) has determined that the Pink Water Taxi shift pattern exceeds, on average, the allowable number of driving hours per week.

Consequently, the Water Taxis will close at 10pm on Sunday and Monday nights as from Sunday 7 April inclusive.

Note that the start time of 6am remains the same all week and Tuesday to Saturday inclusive is still a midnight finish.

Whilst this change is necessary for compliance, it does provide latitude for overtime during busy periods over summer so all is not lost.

Yours aye - Pink Water Taxis

SALVATION ARMY RED SHIELD APPEAL
SCOTLAND ISLAND & BAYS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
SAT 25 & SUN 26 MAY 2013 Appeal

Hi everyone,

The annual Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal is on Sat 25 & Sun 26 May this year and I'm getting started early to coordinate the Island & Bays doorknock campaign for this wonderful cause. With the fantastic support of local businesses (ferries, water taxis and cafes) we achieved a great result last year, so I'm hoping that with more doorknock volunteers, we can raise even more. I am looking for energetic and enthusiastic people who can spare an hour or two-everyone is welcome. For any high school students involved in the Duke of Edinburgh  Award, this is a great community service opportunity.

Thanks,
Jenny Frazer

Wanted
Drum Kit

I AM LOOKING FOR A USED SET OF DRUMS;  - neighbours, don’t worry, they aren’t for me!!
My granddaughter who lives at Morrisset is hoping to extend her music, and I have promised them as a birthday present in May.
We always bought the instruments our boys wanted to learn, so this is history repeating itself.
Thanks whomever – I hope.
