WHAT'S COMING ?

STAIN AND ODOR CONTROL NEWS
One of the worst smells on the planet is cat urine.
If you have more than one cat, it's also very possible that you have had a problem with one or more of your sweet furballs doing this.
With a cat shelter and a changing population inside, this can be difficult to fix. It took a while, but I finally found the perfect product: See Spot Go. It literally eliminated the odor AND the stain, immediately and without scrubbing the spot. The price wasn't bad either, at $5.99 to $7.99 at different outlets.
Naturally, as soon as I find something that works, the
company stops making it. Unfortunately, See Spot Go has Gone. No one carries it now and the manufacturer told me they just didn't have enough sales to keep making it. Really?
However, they pointed me to another product that is "just as good." It's called The Equalizer, and it's $12.99.
It's not new, but I had not heard of it. I'm testing it now and will let you know how well it performs compared to SeeSpotGo.
So far, though, so good. I found it at Medi-Vet.com, in case you want to try it, too, and let us know what you think.

HOW OLD IS YOUR CAT?
Is your cat old enough to be in the Guiness Book of
World Records?
My cat Holly is 25 this year, but I don't have a way to
document and prove her age, so we don't qualify. But
if you have your cat's veterinary records, you may want
to see if you can make your cat famous. Here's a current
contender:   http://tinyurl.com/kqg44fd
And here's where to apply:

Thanks to Karen for bringing this to my attention!

HOW TO HELP ANIMALS

The best way to help animals is to check with a local shelter and ask them what they need. Donating to large national groups can be useful, but you may never know what your money was used for.

If you would like to help the animals displaced by the Washington mudslide, visit PetFlow.com, or call them and ask how to contribute food or other items: 1-888-316-7297

You can also contact the shelter in the area directly by calling them at 1-425-257-6000, to see what they still need. A lot of food has already been donated, so check to see if there are other items they need.
