Please join me for your CE classes this year. For Ethics this year I am offering a Rules Review class. If you have taken Ethics with me in the past, you know it is usually a highly interactive class. This year and next year, in the Rules Review class I will be teaching a little differently. So much is going on with the national organizations and with our Boards I hope to catch everyone up, so we can all be informed. So come and get a "news report" that is relevant to your career! Classes offered later in the year......

There is nothing like a New Year to set the stage for change in our lives. And perhaps that is where the idea of making New Year's resolutions comes from.
So many times we make the same old resolutions- lose weight, quit smoking, or a popular one these days- exercise regularly. It is not that these things are not good for you and good for your health, and all are doubtless a great idea for many of us, but resolve fades so quickly. Especially if we've tried unsuccessfully so many times before. "Fixing" ourselves so we are "good enough" can be very tedious and depressing.
Try something different this year- resolve to reflect every night before falling asleep on what you have done that day that promoted goodness, truth and beauty in life. Did you think to give a compliment? Were you patient with someone unpleasant? Did you stand up for something you believed in when it would have been easier to just be silent? Did you fill the bird feeder and walk around your yard admiring nature? Did you brush your pet with full attention? Did you tell your child or mate that you loved them, and why? Just one acknowledgement before drifting off to sleep...
....and you will make your life sing in 2015. Appreciate yourself as you are- I do!
Happy New Year!

Bindegewebsmassage
Certification Course Series begins April 17th in North Raleigh
Bindegewebsmassage is a reflexive therapy of the connective tissue from Germany. Treat inflammatory conditions of the bowel, reflux, deep abdominal adhesions, menstrual problems, frozen shoulder, blood pressure, headaches, joint diseases, backache, muscular restrictions, and anything that ends with “-itis.” Treatments engage the reflexes of the connective tissue and the autonomic nervous system to bring on powerful healing responses in the body.
Recommended for therapists in a private practice or a medical setting.
Inflammation is the cause of most painful conditions we treat as therapists. You can alleviate the pain at its source with this work. Learn it and start using it in your practice immediately after the Basic course. Then continue on to learn all of the techniques. Please note, pregnancy is a contraindication for all classes.
