RANGER WILL & JOZO DUO DEBUTS AT FIRST HOUSE CONCERT - Though we've been playing together since the late 80s, last month saw the very first performance of our duo. It took place in Willow Grove, PA, at our first ever house concert. A house concert is where someone hosts a musical performance in their own home and invites family, friends, and fans to attend. It is usually a potluck affair and there is a suggested donation. There is no p.a. system, amps or light show. It's just a bunch of folks sitting in a big room listening to some homegrown acoustic music. Jozo & I had a blast and we can't wait to do one of these kind of shows again. JASON CROSBY PLAYS W/ PHIL LESH & FURTHUR - Mighty Manatees keyboardist/violinist/producer Jason Crosby recently relocated to California and is now on tour with Mr. Lesh. We look forward to seeing him again when the tour comes east. Jason has been co-producing our latest studio album which is, nearly completed. We wish Jason all the best in his latest musical adventures.

CAVANAUGH NEWS - Mighty Manatees drummer, Jim "Grampa" Cavanaugh, has been rather busy as of late. Not only did the Wanderlust reunion album "Record Time" make #1 on Goldmine Magazine's Top 20 pop albums of 2012 list, but he has also been wearing a producer's hat on several other recent projects. One of the projects he is producing is my own magnum opus containing 90 minutes of original songs never heard before. Go Jimmy, Go!

SALSA DANCING - Every Wednesday night, the Twenty 9 Restaurant Bar, (formerly The Fox Bar), in the Great Valley Corporate Center in Malvern, PA, holds a Salsa Dancing Night called Salsa Y Mas. There is a great salsa dj and once a month Mighty Manatees trumpeter/percussionist Blondy & The Mambo Machine provide the music. $10 cover includes drink.
Beginning Salsa Lesson - 7:30pm
Band starts - 8:30pm - 11:30pm.

BIG DADDY RECOVERING - Long time Manatees friend and fellow musician Scott "Big Daddy" Gourley recently underwent hip surgery but is already up and rockin'! All of us here wish Scott the speediest of recoveries and can't wait until he's back on stage singing with us again.
